Favorite Products for 2 Under 2
- Fisher-Price SpaceSaver High Chair
My son, who will turn 2 next month, has used this high chair since he was 6 months old. As a mother with limited kitchen space, it is super convenient to use a high chair that simply attaches to a regular chair. I love that the dining tray is removable and can be easily washed in the kitchen sink, or even the dishwasher. In addition, the padded cushion and straps are laundry-safe, and can easily be washed to remove any food stains.
When my daughter turned 6 months old, I bought her a cheaper, off-brand space-saving high chair. I regret not buying two of this chair, as it is clearly the better overall high chair. Save yourself the frustration and simply buy the best high chair from the start!
- Safety 1st Guide 65 Convertible Car Seat
I liked this car seat so much, I bought it 3 times! My son has this exact car seat in my car and also in daddy’s car. I also bought this car seat for my 11-month-old daughter in the purple/black color combination. It is a safe and stylish design, that is budget-friendly at under $80. My kids love how comfortable this car seat is. As a bonus, this car seat is recommended for smaller vehicles, and can easily fit three across.
- Kolcraft Cloud Side-by-Side Double Umbrella Stroller
I purchased this double umbrella stroller a month ago, and my only regret is that I did not purchase it sooner. Most double strollers are very heavy and bulky, but this one isn’t. It is lightweight and easy for me to load into my car when I want to take my kids to the park. It also allows this Reluctant Stay at Home Mom to easily get out of the house and walk around the neighborhood, when I’m starting to feel stir-crazy at home. I’m looking forward to attending the Tulsa State Fair in a few weeks, and know that this stroller will make it possible for me to attend with 2 under 2.
Since it is an umbrella stroller, there is not much storage space. When I go on walks, I attach a little bag to the back of the handles with my phone, keys, snacks, and toys for the kiddos. There is also a cup holder that attaches to a handle, that can hold a water bottle. I use this stroller primarily for outdoor use. I’m sure you could use it inside, but it might be a little tricky maneuvering through doorways. Still, at $75, this stroller is practically a steal and most definitely an excellent deal!
- Kiddieland Finding Dory Ocean Friends Ride-On Train with Music & Lights
We purchased this ride-on train for my son’s 1st birthday. (I refer to it as his “Dory car.” Had no idea it was actually a train, haha.) Almost every day, my son zooms up and down our driveway on his toy train. Now, his little sister is riding it too, and I have to teach them to take turns.
The toy train plays music, and the kids have fun pushing the buttons and making different sounds come out. It also comes with little balls that you can load into the train, and once you start moving they will magically pop out. I’ll be honest, my kids don’t use the ball effect much. They tend to stuff balls that don’t come with the train into the hole, which then plugs it up. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this ride-on train, as it has provided countless hours of entertainment for my 2 under 2.
- Robeez Soft Sole Infant Shoes
Robeez shoes are without a doubt the perfect first walking shoes. Both my son and daughter learned to walk wearing Robeez shoes. The soft soles and moccasin fit make it easy for babies to take those first steps. As a bonus, with moccasins, your child does not have to wear socks, and since there is elastic around the ankles, the shoes will stay on tight. Your baby will not be constantly pulling off his shoes or socks like with other shoe types. The only downside to these shoes is that you may have to purchase another pair. Because if your child is anything like mine, they will be so active that they will eventually wear a hole through the sole of their shoes!
Bonus for Mothers who love Coffee
Coffee is a way of life for many mothers. As a SAHM of 2 under 2, my morning cup(s) of coffee are an essential start to the day. These reusable K Cup Filters are amazing, because I no longer have to purchase expensive K cup pods. Instead, I just buy a big container of coffee beans and use these reusable, dishwasher-safe, K Cup Filters, to brew my morning coffee. It also makes me feel good to know I am helping the environment by using reusable filters instead of new K cup pods all the time.
